Behind The Name
Since 2021, Jenna has had the joy of walking Welles, a now-retired service dog who inspired her passion for pet sitting. Their adventures included walks at Tourist Park, visits to Jenna’s office during her graphic design days, and even Zach and Jenna’s wedding where Welles proudly served as the ring bearer. Welles, puppy-raised and named by Leader Dogs for the Blind, honors 9/11 volunteer firefighter Welles Crowther. Jenna’s deep bond with Welles reflects her dedication to providing the same love, care, and attention to other people’s pets. In tribute to police, firemen, and Jenna’s best dog friend, Very Welles Pet Sitting is named after Welles—a heartfelt nod to loyalty, service, and a love for animals.
